Help The Florida

There are SO many ways we can support our neighbors to the south after Hurricane Michael.

October 16, 2018

This week's What The Florida is taking a turn for the helpful, because after Hurricane Michael it's all about helping others. From donating money, time, or goods, here's some ways you can help:

Donate to the American Red Cross HERE. Or, you can text MICHAEL to 90999 to donate $10 to the Red Cross as well.

Donate to AmeriCares Emergency Response Teams HERE

Donate to the GlobalGiving Relief Fund HERE

Thanks to one listener, we also heard about this Panhandle Pasta Project! They're raising money to deliver goods to Florida, you can donate HERE

You can also visit your local blood bank and donate blood to help those in need of medical assistance.

Want to donate goods? Here's one option: Our Framily member, Ryan Martin, is a Pastor at First United Methodist Church in Enterprise, Alabama, and as soon as the roads opened he has personally been driving down south every day to deliver goods to victims of Hurricane Michael. His church is accepting donations of ANY kind, specifically toiletries, food, water, and any other basic necessities. Order anything off of Amazon, and have it shipped directly to First United Methodist Church, and he'll deliver everything directly to the affected areas. The address is:

Hurricane Relief, First Untied Methodist Church, 217 South Main Enterprise, Alabama 36330.

You can also check out Beach Relief HERE and send donations and supplies directly to them through mail.
