Disney bans smoking, ice and oversized strollers at ALL of its parks, removes smoking areas

Rule changes go into effect May 1st

March 28, 2019

Some things are changing at ALL Disney parks beginning on May 1st.

According to Disney, "As far as smoking areas, those will no longer exist inside the parks including Walt Disney World in Orlando, Disneyland theme parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Downtown Disney in California, and all water parks."

But smoking is not the only rule to change.

"Loose ice" will no longer be allowed in your cooler, etc. That rule goes into effect immediately. Ice packs are recommended instead.

And for you parents will multiple little ones, strollers must now be 31 inches wide or less. The current limitation was 36 inches. So no oversized strollers. And if you've been there, you know why. Nothing clogs up the walkways like massive strollers. So it's best go the front / behind route, instead of side by side.
